Being a mother is a blessing

Being a mother is a blessing. It is wonderful and I love it. But it is also very challenging. I have a 2 year old that is very strong-willed and intelligent. My boyfriend and I are very lucky to have her but it can be frustrating at times when she refuses to listen or she constantly says "no" to everything. We keep telling ourselves that it is just a phase and eventually she will learn. She will realize that her bad behavior will not be rewarded or tolorated and if she behaves with mom and dad, life will be easier for everyone. Ha ha ha! She is our sour patch kid. She is sour one moment, and the next, she is the sweetest child. It can make it hard to discipline sometimes, but the time is now because if we don't correct her now, she will get worse in the future.
