We have been in the shelter system almost 4 years, waiting for housing. I am with my wife of 35 years hoping we will get a break in the system.
My husband and I are at the Sound view projects.The best time of your life is when you're working. We live in a couples shelter around the corner from Jerome. What keeps me going is having my kids. When you get on welfare, you keep getting switched out of SSI benefits. Where is the money?
