Since 2014, Mariana has been president and board member of LAIA. She is very happy to have found a new home for LAIA in greater Jamaica and looks forward to bringing programing to this community. She has been a participating member since 2008.

Since 2014, Ruben has been treasurer and board member of LAIA. He worked for over a year helping to secure a new space for LAIA to bring new programing to the community.

Beth Stern
Director
Beth is a successful administrator who is certified in working with seniors. She comes to us from Project Find's Woodstock senior center in Manhattan's Time Square.

Since 2014, Jackie has been a board member of LAIA. She worked hard to bring arts and cultural programing for children in the community.

Gina is a volunteer focused on helping and providing programing for senior citizens.

Since 2014, Veronica has been a board member of LAIA. She worked helping to bring new programing to the community.

Media Board Member
Journalist and member of ACE Latin ACE Awards - Asociación de Cronistas de Espectáculos de Nueva York, Nilda has worked with news media outlets for over 55 years.
Ziek Paterniti
Founding Member​
Ziek is a founding member of the Latin American Intercultural Alliance. She specializes in mixed art forms.
Monica Ivulich
Founder
Monica was the founder of the Latin American Intercultural Alliance,. She was a writer and advocate for Women's Rights. Monica passed away in 2018. Her influence continues to inspire and guide the principles by which LAIA operates and grows.
